Jackson Bankovic

Jackson grew up in regional NSW, discovering his passion for trombone in the town of Orange.

Jackson holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance Honours) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Jackson completed further study at the Australian National Academy of Music where, in 2019, he was a member of the first brass quintet to win ANAM's prestigious chamber music competition.

Jackson has performed with various professional orchestras across Australia including playing on contract with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra as well as playing casually with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia Orchestra, and West Australian Symphony Orchestra. He has also been involved in the recording of soundtracks for several films and television shows.

An accomplished arranger, Jackson brings a new life to music of diverse genres, arranging everything from classical to pop. Several of his arrangements have premiered by members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Outside of the realm of music, Jackson indulges his passion for board games, boasting an ever-expanding collection.
